What personal data we collect and why we collect it

When a user fills out and completes a form on this site, the entry is stored in the site database. EMBEDDED CONTENT FROM OTHER WEBSITES

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Comments are processed through a 3rd party system called Disqus. This streamlines commenting, allows users to use their existing Disqus account to post comments, or log in using an existing social media account. Because users must log in to comment this reduces spam that we receive. Comments and personal information related to comments are not stored on this site (though may appear below posts on this site), but are processed through Disqus’s own servers and can be accessed via a user’s Disqus account.

ANALYTICS

This site uses Google Analytics, a service which transmits website traffic date to Google servers and helps us to understand how our site is used. Google Analytics does not collect personal data for individual users or associate your IP with any data it collects.

How long we retain your data

For registered partners on our website, we store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Entries submitted through the contact form for Contact Requests or Quote applications are stored so that we can follow up, keep a record of consent (if any), and have a historical record of requests to the site. This information is stored indefinitely but can be deleted at any time if a user requests.

Our website is hosted by Bluehost, who may retain backups of the site and database for up to 30 days. For more information about Bluehost and privacy visit https://www.bluehost.com/terms/privacy-policy.
