Client Services Manager

JOB TITLE: Client Services Manager

TYPE: Full Time, Exempt

SUMMARY:
This role provides overall management and leadership of the Client Services Group to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by providing our internal and external clients with  pre and post-sale product support and professional services on a day to day basis.  Success in this role will be achieved by demonstrating personal ownership and accountability, technical aptitude, professional communication, and financial acumen.  This individual will be a key member of the senior management team, reporting to the President / CEO and helping influence current and future strategy.  

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Creates, monitors, and reports performance metrics for the Client Services Group through use of ERP and CRM system.
  • Creates a unified Client Services team through effective communication, team building, motivation and recognition.
  • Handles the more complex customer issues as well as escalated customer calls.
  • Reviews and approves adjustments and escalated payment arrangements.
  • Performs Customer Service Supervisor duties when the need arises.
  • Reviews and approves credit and debit memos to customer accounts.
  • Be responsible for your customer portfolio financial deliverables - P&L (Profit & Loss) and growth.
  • Collects and synthesize customer feedback and shares back across the organization, to ensure all Motivair team members understand our customer's journey.
  • Ensures Client Services team is adhering to company policies and guidelines.
  • Leads Client Services Group improvements through effective project management and leadership.
  • Assesses the training needs of the Client Service team and oversees the training development and delivery.  


EDUCATION/CERTIFICATES/LICENSES:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Master’s Degree preferred


EXPERIENCE / SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • At least 10 years of experience in a customer facing role.
  • Experience with field services, manufacturing and/or repairs, and parts.
  • Strong team player and coach/motivator who can inspire and motivate high performance teams while also build positive, collaborative relationships with peers in other departments.
  • Ability to demonstrate critical thinking skills and multi-task under deadline.
  • Must have working knowledge and experience using ERP systems and use of personal computer applications such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Access.
  • Must be flexible with hours worked to support customers and direct reports.


OVERTIME / TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Overtime (OT) will be required from time to time for short-term or long-term duration, as business needs mandate.  Travel may be required by any mode of transportation as determined by company for business reasons such as, but not limited to, project site visits, skill development or training.

Software / Controls Engineer

JOB TITLE: Software / Controls Engineer

TYPE: Full Time, Exempt

SUMMARY

The Software / Controls Engineer is responsible for hardware designs, Electrical planning and schematic layouts, software programming, commissioning, and verification of custom Cooling control systems.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop control programs and operator interfaces for new projects,
  • Ensure that software operates and make necessary software changes to ensure HVAC systems operate as designed.
  • Software integration with systems such as but not limited to BACnet, LON and Modbus.
  • Develop CAD drawings / BOM’s for control panels, power distribution, junction boxes, included in the drawings are schematics, interconnection and wire diagrams using CAD.
  • Analyze, design, test and document electrical components, connectors, and layouts for new and existing products.
  • Write tests plans for electrical hardware, electrical system, and perform or oversee lab testing.
  • Provide start up documentation, commissioning documents, etc. as required for assigned projects.
  • Perform inspects, testing, and commission of HVAC components / systems.
  • Provide input to sales staff as requested or required to assist in the accurate estimation, design, installation, start up, commissioning, and training of custom HVAC control systems.


EDUCATION/CERTIFICATES/LICENSES:

  • 2- or 4-year degree in HVAC or electronics, electrical engineering or similar discipline 


EXPERIENCE:

  • 3 to 5 years of background and industry experience in controls and HVAC service
  • HVAC & central plant system controls
  • IP and BACnet networking
  • Familiar with "Function Block Style" of programming
  • Experience with Structured Text "ST"
  • Low voltage wiring
  • Logic programming and control diagrams
  • Starting up and testing of control systems
  • Strong controls programming experience is preferred


SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Write software (using PLC programming tools i.e.1Tool, csuite, other…) for PLC and supervisor application, accordingly to customer specifications.
  • Migrate legacy software to IoT platforms.
  • AutoCAD or SolidWorks experience preferred.
  • Microsoft Office Suite
