Motivair to help deliver four new supercomputers

Motivair Corporation’s partnership with Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) continues, as it will help deliver four new supercomputers on three different continents.

Motivair’s liquid cooling technology will be featured in systems for the U.S. Department of Energy’s National Nuclear Security Administration, the U.S. Department of Energy’s Los Alamos National Laboratory, Australia’s Pawsey Supercomputing Centre, and the EuroHPC JU LUMI supercomputer.

ABOUT THE SYSTEMS

  • The U.S. Department of Energy’s National Nuclear Security Administration
    • The supercomputer, according to published reports, will support critical modeling and simulation of nuclear weapons at high 3D resolutions to ensure reliability and security of the nuclear stockpile.
  • The Chicoma system at the U.S. Department of Energy’s Los Alamos National Laboratory
  • Australia’s Pawsey Supercomputing Centre
    • The new supercomputer, according to published reports, will target complex modeling and simulation for accelerating research in areas such as astronomy, plant pathology, and drug discovery.
  • The EuroHPC JU LUMI supercomputer
    • The new supercomputer, according to published reports, will help European researchers and private and public organizations significantly advance R&D and discoveries in healthcare, weather forecasting, and AI-enabled products.
