BUFFALO, NY, Nov. 16, 2022 -- Motivair is pleased to announce its latest strategic collaboration with Supermicro (Nasdaq: SMCI) as they continue partnering to solve thermal challenges facing the High-Performance Computing and broader data center industry.

The two companies recently deployed a complete End-to-End direct liquid cooled system to a confidential client, leveraging Motivair’s Dynamic™ Cold Plate technology inside the popular Supermicro Big Twin server platform using 4th Generation Xeon Scalable processors also known as Sapphire Rapids.

An end-to-end solution helps solve the thermal challenge at the silicon level and just as importantly how that heat is efficiently and reliably transferred from the servers to the client’s central cooling system.

In this use case, the client deployed direct liquid cooled servers into an air-cooled data center lacking access to a central chilled water plant. Motivair’s Heat Dissipation Unit (HDU™)was used to transfer heat from the liquid cooled servers to the client’s air-cooled data center environment, resulting in a complete end-to-end thermal solution.

Motivair’s HDU™ allows customers to deploy direct liquid cooled servers inside air-cooled data centers when central water-cooling systems are not available.
