Lightweight and compact, the Motivair open draft cooling tower provides evaporative cooling at the lowest cost, combined with quick and easy installation. On-site assembly is simplified by the modular design of all components. Smaller models are shipped pre-assembled on site, or factory assembled on site for a reasonable fee. Prevailing wind directions will not affect cooling tower performance due to the unique cicular design of the basin and casing.

Motivair open draft towers are suitable to cool a recirculated water system within a few degrees of the prevailing ambient wet bulb temperature.Typical applications are HVAC, Compressors, Turbines, or any application requiring water cooled to within a few degrees of the wet bulb temperature.

Open Draft towers can be combined with a shell & tube, or plate & frame heat exchanger to create a secondary closed loop system. This secondary loop will prevent airborne or suspended water deposits from entering the process cooling loop. This secondary loop can also be utilized as a “Free Cooling” or “Winter Economizer” loop for water-cooled chillers.
