Motivair is now recognized as the leading supplier of large capacity, multi-circuit, cycling refrigeration compressed air dryers. These dryers are typically the centralized drying equipment for large manufacturing facilities, operating on a continuous schedule. The 2 main requirements for these applications are consistent dew point, and very high reliability.

Motivair meets these requirements by utilizing reliable cycling dryer technology, combined with redundant, independent refrigeration circuits. Multiple, independent refrigeration circuits cool a glycol solution, which in turn cools the compressed air to a controlled dew point. An air/air exchanger minimizes refrigeration power and re-heats the leaving air. In the event of a refrigeration compressor failure, the remainder of the dryer remains functional, while the compressor can be changed out. Duplex glycol circulation pumps and multiple pneumatically powered auto-drains all provide added redundancy for large, continuous production facilities. Cycling operation insures that the Motivair dryers only consume power in direct proportion to the compressed air load. Advanced microprocessor controls cycle & rotate refrigeration circuits, display all operating and alarm conditions, and facilitate remote monitoring via the Modbus operating platform.
